I went over to the wv after the 2nd storm and it was the emptiest I've ever seen it. I took a lot of photos of garbage (all bottles) and all over the area different ice cream and hot dog vendors said to me "how much?" - every time i took a shot of the street. I still don't understand this but I know I should have asked for at least $50-

So, I went home and when I was close to my apartment I passed an elderly beautiful and elegant Maya Angelou woman who was sitting in a chair just taking in the night air - and she was taking all of me in too. I smiled. After I passed she clearly and slowly asked me "Did you have a good time today honey?". I turned around and said yes and she lit up with a huge smile and wildly exclaimed "WELL ALLLLLRRIIIIIIIGHT BABY!" She made my day. R

I was looking for the clip from Orlando where Quentin Crisp as Queen Elizabeth beckons Tilda Swinton (in male drag) over to her saying "Come, your handsome leg" as she then puts a royal garter on his calf and gives him a huge estate and tells him never to grow old... but I couldn't find it.

I like to spend my summers in shorts with strong calf muscles and shaved legs. I'll let you guess what the other calf says on it. R

I also loved The Mighty Isis, maybe more than Linda Carter as Wonder Woman. I had the Mighty Isis doll also, but i had to buy it as an 'action figure' via my parents dollaphobia with boys.

I don't a lot of Gays are so much fans, but I always loved George Carlin - especially his depiction of Jesus Christ. I'm not crazy about these still image while soundtrack plays utube entries, but it's such a great fake interview - jesus WAS a working class carpenter and I love the 'regular guy' depiction. R

MERMAID FESTIVAL

The Mermaid Parade is famous for it's sloppy drag. I'm not a big fan of drunk topless girls in day glo bobs (EVER), but I need to stay active right now. I never did find my friends who were judging the parade, but met up with my friends Jenny I. & Patti Grabianowski (that's totally her real name). My camera wigged out after I took a few shots so I don't have one of them, which is a shame - they rock. I do have pics of this one who's been doing borderline homeless booger-crack drag for decades with his green beard ranbow fro and dyed poodle with a parrot on it's head. She does this look everyday though...

I actually know this asian tranny from the hood - she practices her flag-ish streamer dances in Tompkins Sq Park on hot summer days. I was surprised that I don't look as rotten as I've felt (I'm am on a rare treatment for 11 months) but I have totally a lot of lost muscle tone. I'm like a regular person - it's absolutely awful. Oh well, I'll BE BACK! R
