A friend of mine pops by for a quick drink toting a painting someone gave her. She's been going on at length lately about her tanning lifestyle - which I can relate to. I haven't said a thing because I thought it was a white trap and guess what? It was! When this canvas came to my house I inquired about black people and tanning and lady went right off on it stating that black people were meant for the sun. Didn't want to touch that comment. The rant ended in her saying "fucking white people!", which I loved. I later got an indignant photo sent to me. I am now very well educated and apologize to the African American community for my hateful ignorance about their tan lines.
