MR. ONYX NOIR, DARLING OF MY 1990’s PHOTO ARCHIVE OF NY NIGHTLIFE, FINE ART PAINTING DEBUT



Onyx, Manhattan legend and once partner in the historically chic East Village clothing design partnership and label, “Kanai and Onyx”, delves sea deep with these Fine Art pieces, producing a proliferation of optical, dazzling and expressive work exhibited at CASA gallery NYC.  Hard to stop viewing, the works penetrating eyes appear to stare at the viewer, seemingly monitoring and mimicking, mocking(?) or even empathizing with our emotions. What they most cry out is the undeniable talent and richness of passion in any endeavor that Onyx executes.
