There is so much violence in the media that when someone does this with a rubber knife and some fake blood I'm not really taken by surprise. Seems every week someone is doing some mutated stuff to themselves with some red colored corn syrup.

Several posts have featured this very topic. I’m sure the artists think it avant-garde and cutting edge that it mirrors real life. I appreciate the work involved in creating such performance pieces but I’ve seen more shocking events in real life. Time to step up the creative value.
If I were to pass-myself-on, I think I would invite a large crowd to McDonalds, strap sticks of dynamite to my gut, guzzle the jugs of ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise then detonate all over everyone.

If someone could create a realistic suicide bomb illusion, that would be worth the cover price...
