We had no idea it was CHILDREN'S DAY. As my friend approached I said dahling watch out it's children's day and a woman going in with a few kids laughed. I told her that when paying admission that I asked if I would get a discount if I had a kid and she said I could have one of hers!
This buddha was so old and worn that it looked like it had a veil over it. I was eventually told no photos, but there wasn't a sign. There were some very expressive faces.
